Part-time (8 to 12 hours per week) - Brussels

About the role

We are looking for a French speaking HR working student to join our HR team for at least 5 months. Our team consists of an HR Director, three HR Business Partners, four Talent Acquisition Partners, two Payroll Specialists, one Absence and Wellbeing Specialist, three People Service Advisors, and another HR student worker (working hybrid from Germany). We are a large team that offer you ample experience to get acquainted with the different HR disciplines. We are happy to teach you all that we know about the HR disciplines and set you off for the best start of your career! 

What are you going to do?

The purpose of this role is to support the HR Business Partner in the successful implementation of HR people initiatives and stakeholder engagement for our office in Brussels. The role will be of a generalist nature and you will be able to support in a wide array of HR processes. For example, you will drive data accuracy in or HRS system Workday, assist in delivering correct and accurate data for the monthly payroll processes, make sure all new colleagues are welcomed with a smooth onboarding, leavers are given a fond farewell and, in addition, answer any HR related questions of employees in Brussels. Moreover, you support colleagues of the various CoE’s (i.e. Talent, Absence & Vitality and Talent Acquisition) with the deployment of different HR initiatives. Your proficiency in French will be required when French documentation like the C4 form needs to be completed. 

What are we looking for?

  • You are following a college or university education preferably in the direction of HRM, Psychology, Business Administration or similar;
  • You are available for at least 5 months;
  • You are passionate about HR and consider yourself are a people person;
  • You possess good communication skills;
  • You are genuinely interested in assisting others and improving processes;
  • A data-driven mindset;
  • You are fluent in French and English, both verbally and in writing. Proficiency in Dutch would be advantageous.
