The Paid Social Lead will play a vital role in shaping and executing our paid social media strategies to drive business growth and brand awareness. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end process of paid social campaigns, including strategy development, campaign execution, and performance optimization. Collaborating closely with clients and cross-functional teams, you will ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives and deliver measurable results. Your expertise in paid social platforms, audience targeting, and data-driven decision-making will be instrumental in driving impactful outcomes.

The primary purpose of a Paid Social Lead is to develop and execute innovative and high-performing paid social media strategies that drive client success. This role involves managing and optimizing paid social campaigns, ensuring they align with client objectives and deliver measurable business outcomes.
In this position, the Paid Social Lead will collaborate closely with the Senior Paid Social Director to define and execute an overarching strategy that enhances channel performance. They will lead a team of social media experts, fostering a culture of growth and innovation while managing client relationships to ensure satisfaction and resolve any issues.
Key responsibilities include overseeing complex client accounts, developing strategic goals, and ensuring the team’s continuous development. The Paid Social Lead, has 6 areas of responsibilities:
Strategic Leadership and Planning
Develop and execute high-performing paid social strategies that align with client goals.
Collaborate with the Senior Paid Social Director to define and drive the overall channel strategy.
Identify opportunities for innovation, continuously improving paid social processes and campaigns.
Campaign Oversight and Execution
Oversee the daily management of paid social campaigns across multiple platforms (e.g., Meta, TikTok, LinkedIn, Snapchat).
Ensure campaigns are set up for success by aligning objectives with creative strategies, platform capabilities, and target audiences.
Continuously monitor campaign performance, identifying optimization opportunities to maximize ROI.
Client and Stakeholder Management
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients on all paid social-related matters.
Present campaign performance, insights, and data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.
Proactively address client concerns or challenges, ensuring a seamless experience.
Team Leadership and Development
Lead, mentor, and inspire a team of paid social specialists.
Foster a collaborative environment, providing opportunities for team growth and professional development.
Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of campaign deliverables by effectively delegating tasks.
Data Analysis and Reporting
Utilize data-driven insights to inform campaign strategies and future planning.
Conduct thorough analysis and reporting on key performance indicators (KPI’s) to measure success.
Lead the exploration of new tools and techniques to optimize campaign outcomes.
Business Development and Innovation
Contribute to new business pitches and develop opportunities for cross-selling and upselling services.
Stay ahead of industry trends, testing new tools and platforms to maintain a competitive edge.
You have 5+ years of extensive (hands-on) experience in paid social media advertising, including planning, execution, and optimization of successful campaigns across platforms such as Meta, Snapchat, Pinterest and Smartly;
You have experience with handling different global (client) accounts;
You have strong data analysis and interpretation skills;
You are known for your exceptional communication and collaboration skills and attention to detail;
You are an expert in managing campaign budgets, forecasts, and resource allocation efficiently while ensuring profitability;
You have proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire teams, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment;
You have a strong passion for digital marketing and the desire to grow within this industry.
