Your team

The Global Addressable Media team is a team of 100+ digital media specialists with over 30 different nationalities. From our home base in London and Amsterdam we operate globally, covering 50+ markets. What are you going to do?

The Paid Search Lead will drive the development and execution of paid search strategies while ensuring all campaigns meet and exceed client objectives. You will act as a strategic partner to stakeholders, delivering expert recommendations based on data-driven insights to grow business performance. This role involves overseeing daily operations, identifying opportunities for campaign optimization, and contributing innovative solutions to achieve measurable results. Additionally, you will lead and inspire the team, fostering collaboration across departments to ensure cohesive strategies that support overarching business goals.

What are you going to achieve? 

The purpose of this role is to strategically manage and optimize paid search campaigns, ensuring the achievement of client objectives while driving business growth. This role is focused on delivering high-performing campaigns through expert leadership, innovation, and data-driven decision-making. The Paid Search Lead is also responsible for mentoring and developing a team of specialists, maintaining strong client relationships, and ensuring seamless collaboration across departments to drive effective digital advertising strategies. Ultimately, the purpose is to contribute to the overall success and profitability of both client account and company.

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement comprehensive paid search strategies to achieve business objectives.

  • Collaborate with leadership to design the overall approach to the paid search channel.

  • Promote innovation and ensure adherence to industry best practices.

  • Work closely with the Client Director and Partner to refine strategy and approach.

  • Develop strategies and goals for large or complex clients, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

Client and Stakeholder Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and internal stakeholders.

  • Serve as the primary point of escalation for client concerns or campaign challenges.

  • Present performance reports and provide data-driven recommendations to stakeholders.

  • Maintain and manage client relationships, ensuring client satisfaction and campaign success.

  • Contribute to new business development opportunities when required.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Partner with creative, SEO, and social media teams to ensure cohesive strategies.

  • Align paid search efforts with broader marketing initiatives and business goals.

  • Contribute to new business pitches and support cross-functional projects when needed.

Financial Oversight

  • Conduct forecasting for annual and monthly campaign budgets.

  • Ensure campaigns are cost-efficient and contribute to profitability and account growth.

  • Identify opportunities to expand services and drive additional revenue streams.

  • Manage and grow account profitability by strategically allocating budgets and resources.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends and changes in digital advertising platforms.

  • Test and implement new tools, features, and methodologies to enhance campaign performance.

  • Promote a culture of experimentation and data-driven decision-making.

Team Management

  • Manage and mentor the Paid Search team, ensuring their professional development.

  • Delegate tasks effectively and ensure the team delivers high-quality work on time.

  • Foster a collaborative and growth-oriented team environment.

Who are you?

  • You have 5+ years of experience in paid search (PPC) management, including strategy development and execution;

  • You have extensive experience with platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and Google Analytics. Familiarity with bid management tools and automation scripts is a plus;

  • You have experience in team management;

  • You have strong presentational and problem-solving skills;

  • You have strong analytical skills, able to interpret campaign performance metrics (CTR, ROAS, CPA, etc.) and make data-driven decisions;

  • You have strong strategic thinking skills. Proven ability to create and implement effective paid search strategies aligned with business goals;

  • You have excellent communication and collaboration skills;

  • You have a strong passion for digital marketing and the desire to grow within this industry.
