About the role

In this role you facilitate and lead the Client Management, Strategists and Specialists teams to grow current clients like Ahold, KLM and Intergamma. But also win new brands. For pitches you are in the lead and the go to person. Your focus will be on media pitches, but you are also able to connect several Service Lines to grow clients. Within dentsu you will be reporting to the Business Development Director. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Responsible together with other teams to achieve ambitious growth goals (focus on Media secondary cross LOB);
  • Support the Sr. Business Development Director on all pitches;
  • Manage pitches themselves and pro-actively work on leads within existing and new clients;
  • You are accountable together with the Client Management team that Salesforce TBG is updated continuously;
  • You make sure that (client) deadlines are met on time;
  • You work with New Business team and Senior Management on a local and international level;
  • Attend all internal and external pitch meetings;
  • Responsible for responding to all Account Management questions in an RFP;
  • Responsible for reviewing briefings and writing questions for Q&A;
  • You have the competence to motivate teams and connect the right people (legal, finance, HR, business teams etc) at the right place by being a proper teamplayer;
  • First point of contact for external reporting companies like RECMA and COMvergence;
  • You are on top of trends in market and able to translate them to the benefit of prospecting;
  • Working towards being a sparring partner on strategy and marketing advice;
  • Working towards building a broad network in the industry (especially on pitch consultants like 3MO and FMA).

What are we looking for?

  • Preferably a (digital) media profile with experience in Client Management, Communications Consultancy or Strategy;
  • At least 5 years of relevant working experience;
  • HBO/WO level of education; 
  • A teamplayer and strong connector;
  • Digital savvy; 
  • You are fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing.
